The BG 1000 is an high capacity, water cooled 110 or 220 volt compressor that can operate using either dockside power or the boat's onboard generator.Is is designed to be installed as a primary system or used in conjunction with the Engine Drive or DC 5000, and is best fitted to a boat that uses its generator more the main engine. The BG 1000 is fitted with a thermostatic control which allows the boat to be left dockside for extended periods of time while maintaining even refrigeration temperatures. The BG 1000 is compact and features an integrated electrical cabinet and coaxial copper nickel condenser. For further redundancy, it can be operated with a properly sized inverter when the main engine is running(charging).
